The glory of a freshly baked summer pie with a subtle, herbacious undertone. Made with apricots picked fresh off my familys' trees and blackberries foraged from a slough at the end of road. The apricots are first cooked down with organic cane sugar and fresh sage, and then pureed into a concentrate before whole blackberries are added to preserve their deep color and texture.
