meet Poppet.
Poppet’s Pantry is the small-batch cookie and provision outfit of professionally trained baker Molly Raney. The name is derived from her long time music persona, Poppet–a historic word used to refer to both a small female and a voodoo doll. This synthesis of opposing forces feels at home with her flavor maximalist approach to food.
Molly has dedicated herself to the study of all aspects of baking and canning for the last 15 years, both professionally and as an at-home OCD researcher, food science nerd and recipe-developer. She firmly believes that one shouldn’t produce a product unless it upholds the highest of standards–of presentation, method, and most importantly, flavor. Poppet’s Pantry is a place where flavor is never compromised.

I take great care in my recipe development and ingredient sourcing. For every recipe, hours and sometimes weeks of research and testing go into the final product–and that goes for the sourcing of the ingredients as well.
When possible, I use all-natural organic products. I also seek out local suppliers for many of my pantry ingredients, as I believe the freshest ingredients produce the most delectable treats, and help keep the local economy thriving! For more information, see FAQ.
